The ‘light’ alternative to Halloween

If you’re one of the growing number of people who like the idea of a day when everyone is encouraged to dress up, but feel uncomfortable with trick or treating and the negative connotations around Halloween, you’ll love a light party.

Light parties are family oriented events which provide fun activities in a safe environment.  They are usually run by schools, churches and other community groups – and of course everyone is invited to dress up!

Shellock Consulting will be helping to host one of these light parties on October 31st at Hoon Hay Presbyterian Church, 5 Downing Street, Hoon Hay.

The event will run from 5 – 7pm and activities will include a craft table, sausage sizzle and other free food.  There will also be games, a bouncy castle, spot prizes for best angel/superhero costume, and more. For more information contact Anne at [email protected]  or [email protected]
