Anne is the founder and director of Shellock Consulting Ltd. Anne leads our Tax Advisory division and also works in our Business Advisory division. Prior to starting Shellock Consulting Anne worked for a nationwide residential home building company as 2IC and In-House legal Counsel.
Anne was a tax advisor from 1997 to 2013 in a Big 4 Accounting and Advisory firm, holding the position of Tax Director from 2008. She managed a wide variety of clients from listed companies to SME’s, large charitable trusts and international companies and individual clients. Anne also held a number of roles with the Inland Revenue prior to 1997.
Anne has a law degree from Canterbury University, graduating in 2004 and was awarded first prize in Equity and Succession; and Tax Law during her studies. Anne was admitted to the bar in 2013.
Anne lives in Christchurch with her husband, and holds a number of senior volunteer positions within the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand.
